A one-of-a-kind piece, made with silver, birch plywood and braided viscose gimp and silk. This piece was made in response to visiting the zen gardens in Kyoto. Two hand carved wooded forms in the shapes of rocks hang from a silver bar, which has been lightly textured to give the appearance of gravel. Hand dyed braided silk and viscose gimp are sewn over a rock to suggest moss with a braided necklace cord to match.
